Save DoorLine on your phone

DoorLine is a progressive web app. You do not download it from the App Store or Play Store. You open it in the phone's browser once, then save it. After that the icon sits with your other apps and opens full screen — no address bar, no browser tabs.

Knocks still save on the device when signal dies. Saving to the home screen just makes it faster to get back in.

Use Safari. Chrome on iPhone cannot add a web app to the home screen.

1. Open doorline.dev and sign in with your phone number.
2. Tap the Share button (square with an arrow) at the bottom.
3. Scroll the sheet and tap Add to Home Screen. Confirm the name DoorLine, then Add.

Use Chrome.

1. Open doorline.dev and sign in with your phone number.
2. Tap the three-dot menu in the top right.
3. Tap Install app if you see it, or Add to Home screen. Confirm Install.

The home-screen icon launches DoorLine on the canvasser home (your lists). There is no Safari or Chrome bar. If you are signed out, you get the same phone-number login, then the lists.

Admins still reach the admin site from the Admin link on that home screen. Volunteers never see it.
